Hadi Shrine 50/50 Raffle
Promoter/Sponsor of this Hadi Shriners 50/50 Raffle (the “Raffle”) is Hadi Temple Association, Inc. with an address of 6 Walnut Street P.O. Box 1 Evansville, IN 47708. All entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions provided in these Official Rules as well as by all interpretations of these Official Rules by Hadi Temple Association, Inc... and by all other decisions of Hadi Temple Association, Inc. including resolution of disputes in connection with this Raffle, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Raffle. The Raffle is subject to all applicable Indiana laws and regulations, specifically, to the provisions of Indiana Code governing charity gaming, found at Indiana Code section 4-32.3, as well as to oversite by the Indiana Gaming Commission.
The Raffle is open to legal U.S. citizens who are at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Executive Board members and Raffle Operator and defined by Indiana Gaming Commission or any member of their household shall not be eligible to enter or win.
Raffle tickets can be purchased during the following timeframes (the “Entry Period”):

Sunday, June 26 – Sunday, July 10, 2022, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
NO RAFFLE TICKETS FOR THE 2021 50/50 RAFFLE WILL BE SOLD AFTER 6:00 PM ON SUNDAY, July 10, 2022.
Tickets will be sold for the Raffle throughout the Entry Period. To enter the Raffle, entrant must purchase a Raffle ticket. Tickets may be purchased using CASH only. Raffle tickets will be sold in the following amounts: one (1) raffle ticket for $5, three (3) raffle tickets for $10, twenty (20) raffle tickets for $20, fifty (50) raffle tickets for $40, or one hundred fifty (150) raffle tickets for $100. Raffle tickets may be purchased from one of the raffle locations throughout the Entry Period. All Tickets must be purchased at any of the Tickets location posted on this page. There is no limit on the number of raffle tickets an individual may purchase. All raffle ticket purchases must be completed by the end of the Entry Period to be eligible for the applicable drawing.
All raffle ticket purchases are final, and no refunds or replacements will be issued.
One winner will be selected randomly utilizing the Ascend state-certified raffle software at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 11, 2022. The winning raffle ticket number will be posted on all Hadi Shriners social media pages, website, and released to the media. Winner need not be present when the winner is announced to win.
In order to claim a prize, the winner should call the following number (812-423-4285) or email the following email address ([email protected]) and provide contact information so a Hadi Shriners representative can get back with them to make arrangements to meet with them at the Hadi Shrine office located at 6 Walnut Street in Evansville, IN, or an alternate agreed upon location. The winning ticket and valid ID should be brought to that meeting and additional information on how to claim the prize will be provided. The winner must contact the Hadi Temple Association, Inc in the above-described manner within thirty (30) days of the end of the Entry Period, by close of business on August 11, 2022, in order to receive more information on how to claim the prize.
The holder of a winning ticket must provide Hadi Temple Association with all information required to claim a prize (including tax identification information). In the event: (i) that the winner does not contact Hadi Temple Association within thirty (30) days of the end of the Entry Period (by close of business on August 11, 2022); (ii) that the winner is ruled ineligible for any reason; or (iii) that the winner declines the prize, the prize will be forfeited and will be retained by Hadi Temple Association. Hadi Temple Association has no obligation to contact potential winners.
Hadi Temple Association its members, or any of its entities are not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic; including without limitation the incorrect or inaccurate capture of winner information online, or for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, destroyed, delayed, stolen or misdirected winner information.
Winners will be required to sign a Declaration of Eligibility attesting to the fact that he/she is 18 years of age or older, as well as other terms and conditions as designated by Hadi Temple Association.
Each entrant who purchased a winning raffle ticket will receive one-half of the gross proceeds. The gross proceeds being the value of all monies collected from tickets purchased during the duration of the event. All remaining proceeds from the Raffle shall be retained by the Hadi Temple Association to offset gaming expenses and support its activities permissible under Indiana Gaming Rules and Regulations.
All prizes will be delivered via check within thirty (30) days of the winner delivering the winning raffle ticket, executed Declaration of Eligibility, and all other required documents to Hadi Temple Association For security and safety reasons, no cash payments will be made to the Raffle winners. Unclaimed winnings will be retained by Hadi Temple Association.
Persons who purchase a raffle ticket may NOT opt to give away their raffle ticket to other eligible persons, in doing so the purchaser and the transferee waives any claim he/she might otherwise have to the prize. Purchasers of any raffle tickets may not re-sell their raffle tickets to other parties and may not give a raffle ticket away to another person for the purpose of allowing that person to re-sell such raffle ticket. Any raffle ticket which has been resold in violation of these Official Rules shall be void. All individuals who re-sell, purchase, or receive a raffle ticket in violation of these Official Rules shall be ineligible to participate in the Raffle or to win a prize. A winner may transfer his/her prize to a third party provided that the following conditions are met: (a) the transferee would have otherwise been eligible to enter the Raffle; (b) the transferee shall be responsible for all taxes and costs described in these Official Rules; and (c) the transferee shall be bound by all Terms and Conditions of these Official Rules that are applicable to the winner. The winning raffle ticket numbers will be posted by Hadi Temple Association to the Hadi Shriners web page and to the Hadi Shriner’s Facebook page.
The prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and any expenses associated with the Raffle, unless otherwise indicated.
The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
By entering the Raffle, each entrant agrees to follow these Raffle Official Rules and forever releases, discharges, and waives any and all claims, liabilities, and actions of any kind, howsoever caused or arising and whether by negligence, any intentional act or otherwise, that entrant may have or that may arise against Hadi Temple Association and each of their subsidiaries and related entities, and Hadi Temple Association members (collectively, the “Released Parties”), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrant’s participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the prize awarded in the Raffle. By entering the Raffle, each entrant further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties and their insurers against any and all damages, costs, judgments, and/or expenses (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and/or other legal fees) they may incur as a result of claims made against them in connection with either (i) entrant’s participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the prize awarded in the Raffle.
Hadi Temple Association reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Raffle and/or change dates relating to the promotion in case of schedule changes, acts of God, force majeure events, computer viruses, bugs, corruption, or unfairness of the security or administration of the Raffle, or for any other reason at the sole discretion of the Hadi Temple Association.
Participation in this Raffle is void where prohibited.
